Vitamin C , also known as ascorbic acid which helps form and repair red blood cells , bones and tissues . Human bodies are not capable to make it on it’s own and our body just rely on getting it on our daily diet which composed our daily food intake. It’s easy to get vitamin c in our food intakes but if our kids is a picky eater, she or he might not be able to get the appropriate dosage of vitamin C.
Amount of Vitamin C that our children needs:
Ages 1 to 3 years: 15 milligrams (mg) per day
Ages 4 to 8: 25 mg per day
For children who does not eat fruits and vegetables everyday, a vitamin C supplement is what she needed. There are many vitamin c supplement that are readily available in the market and it’s very affordable , so there is no reason for you not to have one.
