2011 is a year of struggle, pain, hardship, stressful and lots of tears but just like the saying goes, after the rain there is always the rainbow to brighten your days and a hope that there will be better days in store for you.

Even though we had a rough year, our hope never fails and we pray and wish that 2012 brings us good things and more happiness and peace of mind but of course not to sacrifice the health of my family.

Today, we celebrate Prosperity Melandria’s (Peachy) 4th Birthday, nothing grand, I just prepare a red pasta and bought a cake for her as she wishes. I still remember her first birthday, it seems only yesterday but the memory and preparations still linger on my mind.

Phobia and fear are the most common problems of adult and children having them could be an extreme tension and disruption for children.  We usually experience phobia and anxiety when things are not going well as planned or if a very sad experience happened that it keeps on coming back to our memory and we lost the will to cope with that feeling.

As parents, it is not just our responsibility to help our children overcome this problems but it is very important for us to be aware of the signs of impending phobia and anxiety among our children.

If you see the patterns or signs that your children are suffering from phobia and anxiety, first try to help your children relax , talk to your children and let them speak their heart to you.  If you feel that the problem is worsen than you expected, don’t be timid to seek the help of the experts or doctors that are more experienced on this kind of problems.

Physical activities sometimes do help, getting them involved into something can help them divert their attention and always remember that this period will pass .  Through your help , care and attention, your children can overcome this problems.
