Every child deserves love, care and affection and that’s the main priority of every mother.  There maybe times that we need to forget our own feelings and needs because of our children but this should not bother us after all, seeing our children happy and well is more than precious enough rather than any wealth and glamour in the world.

We love Ascorbic Acid Ceelin

They say that as a mother, there are no break time, no holidays and of course no day off.  We are a mother, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days or even 366 if it was a leap year.  Being a mother means, you need unbelievable and immeasurable courage and most of all trust.

Comfort with Pampers Active Baby

I have been a loyal user of another diaper brand.  It was good for us then.  I got a free packet for me to try when we bought a local baby meal and  because my baby is in his growing stage and becoming active,  I told myself that my baby needed something that is fit for his age, something that we can really rely on and that’s the time  I tried  Pampers.

Pampers Active Baby has comfortable stretch.  It is composed of absorbent materials, soft cotton-like outer cover with great breathability.  It’s elastic sides can expands and contracts as he breathe and move throughout the day especially at this time that he is learning to walk on his walker.

My baby loves to be active and Pampers gave him the comfort and freedom to do the things he wanted to do and what impressed me more is the fact that it has up to 12 hours dryness.  No more leakage for us this time, unlike the old diaper that we need to change in the wee hours because we are afraid that he will get diaper rash.  Not now, because Pampers active baby has hypoallergenic lotion with aloe vera extract that helps to protect his skin and reduces diaper rash.

Another thing that I noticed is the fact that the diaper is very light, i could not imagine at first how it can hold so much urine but it might be because of it’s extra locking layer that helps lock away the wetness.  That’s the same reason why my baby is always dry.

Home Safety

Remember the post I have made a while ago?  This is just the continuation of those lists to make your home safety and sound for your little children.  I know most of moms are already aware of this tips but still I hope this would be a reminder for all of us to avoid any further problems in the future.

Kitchen:

  • Make sure that knives, any sharp objects are locked away on the closet.
  • Chairs or step stools should be away from the stove.
  • Garbage can should be put away , not visible on your children.
  • Appliances that are unplugged should be put away on safety so there are no chance for your children to plugged them.  (I used a safety pin to close unused electric outlets, You can buy those on your nearest hardware or home safety store)
  • Matches and lighters should not be placed where your children can get them.  Make sure to put them away because those matches can cause big problems in the safety of your home and your children’s health.
  • Cords and wires should be safety intact as to avoid any possible strangulation.
  • Make sure to have a working fire extinguisher. (it always pays to be ready)
Bathroom:
  • Razor blades or any sharp objects should be put away locked on your closet.
  • Outlets should not be grounded.
  • Make sure to have nonslip pads under your rugs or better yet use rugs that are not slippery when wet.
  • Any harmful liquids should also be kept safe on closet.
  • Make sure that your bath tub are not slippery.
  • Best of all, always closed the door of your bathroom when you are not around.
Living Room
  • Heavy plants are a no, no.  Especially plants that are poisonous.
  • Living room door should be closed always to avoid children going outside without anyone’s knowledge.
  • Avoid using decorative items like pebbles and sharp objects that your children can eat.  (Remember that everything they saw was immediately put in their mouth)
  • Corner guards should be put on sharp edges of your table.
  • Glass table top are beautiful but for the safety of your young children, it is more advisable not to use them.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are joining the whole world in helping spread the pink campaign.  Many websites and companies gave their share by turning pink or buying pink with cancer awareness logo for the benefit of different breast cancer foundation.

Teach your children the real value of pink and even in their young age, they will know the true meaning of it and not just another color they see in their everyday life.
