Considered as 2nd most deadliest mass shooting in the U.S.  The Newtown – Sandy hook Elementary School Shooting is something they have not imagined to happen. Many citizens says that this shocking event killed 28 people, 20 are children from ages 5 to 10 years old , teachers and school personnel, the mother of the shooter as well as the shooter who killed himself after the incident. Among the six adults killed were Dawn Hochsprung, the school’s  principal, and school psychologist Mary Sherlach.

Believed to be suffering from psychological disorder, Adam Lanza was believed to be a good student and has no criminal record over his 20 years existence.  What trigger him to kill these amount of people is definitely only he could tell.

As a mother, my heart breaks knowing and seeing this horrific story. I could not help my tears to fall  for the lost of these lovely kids who has a beautiful future ahead of them.

What is more alarming on this story is the fact that the shooter wear a black fatigues and a military vest and was heavy armed with guns and what is surprisingly shocking is the fact that the shooter was known to be a good student with no criminal records but suspicion arises regarding his autism problem.  Former classmates attest that their this was indeed a shocking truth , aside from the divorce of his parents when he was 17 years old, he was considerably polite and a nice kid.

Survivors lived to tell the horrifying stories and the families of the 27 people who have died is still grieving up to this time and only time can tell whether there hearts can be healed.  Just imagine the thought of coping after this horrific incident that killed one of your love one especially your own child, this is something we don’t want to happen to anyone.

Now, we asked, how can the school provides real safety to our children.  I do hope and pray for their soul, may they find the peace they have been wanting for.
